Kylie hits Perth for Oz tour

Pop princess Kylie Minogue has landed in Perth ahead of her Australian tour kicking off at Perth Arena tomorrow night.

Minogue will kick off her Kiss Me Once tour in Perth on Saturday night, the first in her five concerts Down Under.

The anticipation is high for Minogue's homecoming, not least from the pop star herself, who has been posting to Instagram and Twitter in the run up to her first show.

Her latest Instagram post shows a photo of the singer backstage at Perth Arena in the midst of rehersals.

"Aaaaaaad, we are BACK!!! Rehearsals well and truly underway! #kissmeoncetour," she wrote alongside a photo of her backstage at the Perth venue.

The tour is in support of her twelfth studio album, Kiss Me Once, and began last year in Liverpool, England.

She got a positive critical reception from the British Media with The Guardian newspaper awarding the show four out of five stars.

The Independent also gave her four out of five stars and praised her energetic performance.

"She is confident singing across genres helping her set hang together well as she changes from siren, Eighties disco queen, twee Fifties housewife, PVC policewoman and Disney princess," the newspaper review read.

Minogue's show has a combination of hits spanning her 26-year career right up to tracks from her latest album, Kiss Me Once. It also includes a special version of the INXS hit Need You Tonight.
