She's revered for her hot body but Cameron Diaz insists she doesn't follow a strict diet and "still splurges on French fries" from time to time.
The 41-year-old blonde bombshell, who is gearing up to release her first book, The Body Book, told People magazine recently that while she still enjoyed the odd foodie indulgence, she had come a long way from the fast-food queen she used to be in her younger years.
"I used to live on processed fast food," she told the magazine. "I drank a tonne of soda and ate greasy, cheesy foods constantly. I'd eat until I hurt myself! I would literally be lying there going 'Why did I do that?'"
In her new book Diaz touches on how women can learn to embrace their bodies, something she has also learnt over the years.
"If you understand how your body works you can make the right choices," she added. "I used to have bad acne and little white bumps. I cut out dairy and my skin changed completely."
Diaz has also come to embrace the ageing process.
"I love getting older," she added. "It's a part of life. If you're not ageing, you're dead!"
The model-turned-actress was recently praised by fans for showing off her make-up-free face on her Instagram page in promoting her new book.
"One of my proudest moments! Receiving the first bound copy of The Body Book!!" she wrote. "I wrote this book for YOU and YOUR BODY. And I'm so excited to share it with you!!"
