After previously claiming her sex scenes with The Wolf of Wall Street co-star Leonardo DiCaprio were not at all romantic, Australian ingenue Margot Robbie has revealed how she "shocked" the veteran actor during a steamy bedroom take.
The former Neighbours star said she caught DiCaprio off guard when she pushed him out of the way while filming the Martin Scorsese flick so as to have better access to the light.
"He was so incredulous that I had told him to get out of my light, and physically moved him out of the way, he was like 'Did you really just do that'," Robbie told Manhattan Magazine. "I don't think anyone has told him to get out of their light in quite some time. He seemed extremely (shocked) but it was kind of funny."
The 23-year-old also recently commented the scenes with her heart-throb co-star were more comical than racy because of the pair sharing the bed with a barking dog as part of the story.
Despite the fact The Wolf of Wall Street has already been nominated for two Golden Globe awards and is steadily generating Oscar buzz, Robbie almost turned down a part in the stockbroker drama because of the level of nudity required.
The blonde bombshell admitted she began her career saying she would never appear nude in a movie and had to think about accepting the role for a long time before signing the contract.
However, Robbie said she eventually became emotionally invested in the movie and fell in love with her character.
"All of a sudden, one day, I realised 'If I say no to this, someone else will get the part - and no one else can play this role. I have to do it, which means I have to do nudity and that's fine. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make to have this opportunity'," she told MTV.
"It was worth doing to have the experience I had."
The rising star also made headlines recently after she was snapped getting cosy with her Focus co-star Will Smith while posing in a photo booth. However, Robbie was quick to rubbish claims of an affair with the married actor, claiming they were just messing around.
