Sharon Osbourne has spoken about how she and her husband Ozzy tried marriage counselling to get their relationship back on track - but gave up because it made him angry.
The couple hit a bad patch and temporarily separated this year after Black Sabbath star Ozzy returned to his boozy ways.
But Sharon Osbourne has told Britain's Hello! magazine that the strength of her family helped them after the counselling had proved futile.
She says of the sessions: "It was something we'd never tried before. But actually, it just made Ozzy angry. We gave it a go, but it wasn't for us.
"What we've done we've done together and with the help of our family."
She says the couple will spend Christmas at their Buckinghamshire mansion for the first time in six years and are looking forward to "locking the doors and lighting the fires".
She added: "But the best thing is, this Christmas Ozzy will be 10 months sober, which is fantastic."
