Eskimo Joe have come back from the wilderness and have given their fans, who helped pay for their forthcoming album, a taste of the first track.
Earlier this year, the Perth-based band made headwinds by parting ways with their record label and asked their fans to directly fund their new album.
The boys - Stuart MacLeod, Joel Quartermain and Kav Temperley - eventually raised more than $60,000 through the Pozible crowd-funding platform.
Around 500 fans invested in the new album in return for perks pledged by the band - including a home-cooked barbecue and garden concert.
On Monday, the band released the first tune off the album, Got What You Need, recorded at a home studio in Perth under the band's own label, Dirt Diamonds.
The band's sixth studio album, titled Wastelands, is due for release on September 20.
