While she was in Perth working as a new judge on Australia's Got Talent, British funnywoman Dawn French managed to find some downtime with her new husband, charity boss Mark Bignell.
The couple, who tied the knot in April, arrived in Perth late last week ahead of Saturday's auditions for the Nine reality talent show.
They managed to grab some last-minute tickets to Cirque du Soleil's Ovo, which is playing at Langley Park, on Friday night.
And unlike other celebrities, the pair didn't demand any special treatment, happy to sit in the crowd and watch the hit show, which wraps up its Perth run on Sunday.
After splitting with her husband of 26 years, comedian Lenny Henry, in 2010, French dated Bignell for 16 months. They got married in April in Fowey Hall, which is described on its website as "one of the most impressive family hotels in Cornwall".
The couple met through French's mum Roma, who founded charity Hamoaze House with Bignell. Last year, French told how she fell for "the only man who hasn't seen me on TV".
"I definitely didn't think I would meet someone else. I was enjoying time to myself. Then of course that is when I met him," she said.
