The two fat tradies, Mark Bowyer and Duncan Miller, will be breathing the biggest sigh of relief tonight when The Block: All Stars comes to an end.
It was a tumultuous six weeks of filming late last year for the lads.
Bowyer was forced to quit the Nine reality competition after suffering a heart attack just weeks after his wife was diagnosed with cancer.
But Miller soldiered on with the help of last year's contestant, Dale Vine, and the trio completed their house with a triumphant winning tie with Phil Rankine and Amity Dry in the exterior reveal on last night's show.
"The whole area out the back is absolutely brilliant. It ties everything together and becomes one big, happy place," Bowyer told AAA.
"I didn't do much, I was really just keeping an eye on it and overseeing.
"They were here doing it so they had total control. I'd just stick my head in to say 'Wow, wow, wow'."
According to Bowyer, their house on Tasman Street in Sydney's Bondi is a shoo-in to take out the competition when the hammer falls in the auction, which took place last night but will air today at 7pm on Nine/ WIN. In 2010, the duo came third with a profit of $47,000.
"I'd be crazy not to say we are because I think we have the best house, it lives and breathes," he said. "We had 6000 people through a few weekends ago and 10,000 the next day and all the comments were 'Wow'."
The winner will be the team which garners the highest margin between the selling price and the reserve price and will win $100,000 on top of their profit.
According to Sportsbet, season one married couple Rankine and Dry are favourite to win thanks to their third bedroom and mezzanine, with underdogs Dan Reilly and Dani Wales tipped to be a close second.
Bowyer also believes Reilly and Wales are in with a hot chance, adding: "I just hope that everybody sells and everybody makes a bit of money out of it."If Bowyer, Miller and Vine spin a profit, they will all be rewarded although Bowyer couldn't give more details.
