For a city that has been around for more than 1000 years, Venice has certainly stood the test of time. But behind the Italian tourist hub is a team of dedicated professionals tasked with keeping the city, and its inhabitants, standing. For these doctors, firefighters and garbage collectors, it's not always an easy task though, having to contend with bad weather, flooded walkways, apartment dwellers who don't know their own address and the incredible network of canals that gives life to the water city. In this episode, the emergency crew have to deal with several submerged boats and a fire that threatens a building due to the 15th century wooden supports.
