According to an Australian TV news website, the move came as a surprise, because it wasn't announced in the 2013 Upfronts, but the network may be waiting to see what kind of cast they can pull together.
Applications close on March 1 and those who are successful would require a six-week commitment to the show.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
