Whether you loved it or loathed it, there was no denying the buzz surrounding The Shire when it premiered on the small screen in July. Almost a million viewers tuned in to see just how the reality series based on several (mostly) pretty young things from Sydney's Sutherland Shire would play out. But by last Monday viewers had turned off in droves with just 220,000 tuning in.

In this week's final episode Sophie and Vernesa give "ordinary people a full-on glam makeover" after making up their new mini-me assistant last week. Mitch enjoys being in the same place at the same time as both his parents for the first time ever and Michael proposes to Nikee - but will she say yes?
