Forget about Seattle Grace's patients, this penultimate episode in series eight is all about the doctors. Movement is afoot, exams have been passed, job offers are being made, and many of the residents look like scattering all over the country. That signals some people will be leaving the series - Eric Dane (McSteamy) has already announced he is off - but the door is open for a host of new characters. Before the dust settles in the finale next week there is the usual shock ending to the series and it is a cracker.
