Ten's struggling morning show Breakfast has suffered yet another blow with the resignation of executive producer Majella Wiemers.

According to TV Tonight, Wiemers will exit the show today, replaced by her deputy, Sarah Bristow.

The announcement comes just a week after co-host Andrew Rochford left the line-up of the troubled show, which has seen poor ratings since its launch in February.

Breakfast sits well behind its rivals Today and Sunrise - which each attract more than 300,000 national viewers daily - pulling a national daily average of about 30,000.
