Supermodel Kate Moss is set to show off her acting skills in a special episode of cult British TV comedy Absolutely Fabulous.

The English star will make a guest appearance in the second of Jennifer Saunders' three new sketches, which have been filmed in aid of UK charity Sport Relief.

Moss will appear alongside her designer friend Stella McCartney and male model David Gandy, who all have a meeting with fashion maven Patsy Stone, played by Joanna Lumley.

Lumley says, "Some real superstars have been hauled in to appear with us in this sketch so we're hugely grateful. Kate slotted into the Ab Fab sketch a treat."

Moss adds, "I had a great day working with the Ab Fab team - Jennifer and Joanna were so much fun. Sport Relief does such a great job, I am always really happy to support them."
