Selma Blair has officially joined the cast of Charlie Sheen's new TV show.

The Hellboy actress was known to be a frontrunner to star opposite Sheen in Anger Management, and Collider.com reports that she has now signed up.

Blair will play a therapist who is a love interest for Sheen's character, and Shawnee Smith has been cast as his ex-wife.

Sheen - who was fired from hit sitcom Two And A Half Men last year - recently told Access Hollywood Live that Blair would make a great leading lady.
