Perth-born actress Zoe Ventoura is heading home next week to spruik her exciting new TV venture as the lead actress on Seven's coming Australian colonial western Wild Boys.
Joining the former Penrhos College student on her trip back to Perth will be her new co-star, Daniel MacPherson.
The high-profile actors will meet local media and guests at a special launch party for the new series on August 29 at Seven's Dianella studios, where they will also introduce the first episode of the series, which is due to screen later this year.
Ventoura's role as brothel madam Mary Barrett on Wild Boys is a big departure from Mel, the character she played to great acclaim on Packed to the Rafters.
Set in rural NSW in the 1860s, the series centres on a gang of bushrangers played by Aussie actors including MacPherson, Michael Dorman (The Secret Life of Us) and David Field (City Homicide).
