Aussie One Direction fans have another reason to be hysterical - the boy band’s 2013 visit Down Under clashes with end-of-year exams.
One Direction was set to kick off its tour on September 11 but due to a scheduling conflict the band have changed several dates.
The band's performances in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne have been shifted to October.
However, in a statement today, Sony has confirmed the band's tour dates at Perth Arena on September 28 and 29 will remain unchanged.
The changed dates are understood to be a result of dates being in direct conflict with HSC and VCE exams.
Social media has been saturated with messages by devastated teens that the group, with Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Cyan Malik, will "ruin" their lives.
One message read: " Two whole years come down to 5 exams. If 1D come and therefore distract us. WHAT IF WE FAIL? No uni, no future."
It is expected that the NSW Higher School Certificate will start on October 14 and finish about November 8. While the Victorian finishing exams will start on October 30.
Sony said the rescheduled tour would allow two new shows in Brisbane and Melbourne to be held. Tickets for the shows will go one sale at 4pm AEST on Thursday.
Ticketek says if ticket holders are no longer able to attend the show on the new date, they are eligible for a refund and have until 5pm on December 31 to request a refund.
One Direction’s new 2013 tour dates:'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
