Gotye's single Somebody That I Used To Know has notched up another landmark after selling more than a million copies in the UK.

Britain's Official Charts Company on Monday named the hit at No.97 in a list of all-time singles, announcing sales of 1.06 million copies.

Olivia Newton-John was revealed as the top-selling Australian artist thanks to her duets with John Travolta from the 1978 film Grease.

You're The One That I Want was listed at No.5 with sales of two million copies, while Summer Nights landed at No.20.

Other Australians on the list included Kylie Minogue at No.72 with Can't Get You Out Of My Head and The Seekers at No.36 with The Carnival Is Over.

The New Seekers, formed in 1969 after the break-up of the original group, scraped the list with I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing at No.115.

The Official Charts Company is publishing a book of the 123 songs to have sold over a million copies in Britain, starting from 1952.
