Neil Finn covers Dylan for Amnesty

Neil Finn is among dozens of musicians contributing to a Bob Dylan covers album for Amnesty International.

Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honouring 50 Years of Amnesty International features tracks by Adele, Lenny Kravitz, Elvis Costello and Sting.

Finn's version of She Belongs To Me is one of many highlights, along with Carly Simon's piano interpretation of Just Like A Woman and My Morning Jacket's mellow take on You're A Big Girl Now.

Miley Cyrus even delivers a stunning country rendition of You`re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When I Go.

Covers by Johnny Cash, Pete Townsend, Billy Bragg and Mark Knopfler are also part of the four-CD set.

"This album is a powerful fusion of the music community's respect for Amnesty's life-affirming work and for Bob Dylan's enduring brilliance," said executive producer Jeff Ayeroff.

"We are proud to have worked with Amnesty to produce this remarkable project."

Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honouring 50 Years of Amnesty International is out now.
