Music world Wonder heads to WA

Stevie Wonder will play a one-off concert at the Sandalford Estate in Margaret River on March 2.

The 61-year-old music legend played his most recent WA gig at Burswood Dome in 2008 after an absence from Australia of more than 20 years.

Famed for hits such as Superstition, Sunshine of My Life, Sir Duke and My Cherie Amour, the blind superstar is one of the most decorated musicians in the history of popular music. He has won 25 Grammy Awards.

Wonder will come to Australia specially for next month's concert.

The show is part of the Margaret River winery's plan to host a big gig during the Labour Day long weekend each year.

Tickets go on sale next Friday.
