Movies that already are leading contenders for Oscar glory were all nominated on Thursday for the Producers Guild Awards.
The heavily fancied films, however, will face a rare challenge for the influential prize as Skyfall became the first-ever James Bond film to be nominated for the awards, which often predict the eventual winner of the best movie Oscar.
The nominees for the Producers Guild Awards were Argo, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Django Unchained, Les Miserables, Life of Pi, Lincoln, Moonrise Kingdom, Silver Linings Playbook, Skyfall and Zero Dark Thirty.
The PGA Awards will be handed out on January 26 in Beverley Hills, four weeks before the 85th Oscar ceremony on February 24.The last time the PGA and the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences didn't agree was six years ago when the PGA chose Little Miss Sunshine, while the best picture Oscar went to Martin Scorsese's The Departed.
