Lore wins four trophies in Stockholm

Cate Shortland's Australian drama Lore has taken home four awards at the 23rd Stockholm Film Festival.

The Somersault director's second film, set in post-WWII Germany, won the top honour at the festival - the Bronze Horse for best film, as well as best actress for young lead Saskia Rosendahl, and trophies for cinematography and music.

Best actor was won by Tim Roth for Rufus Norris's Broken, while Benh Zeitlin's Beasts of the Southern Wild was awarded best debut.

Peter Fonda served as the chairman of the jury.
