Hathaway eyes Catwoman spin-off

Anne Hathaway is interested in reprising her role as Catwoman after The Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan tipped her for a spin-off movie.

The filmmaker recently sang Hathaway's praises for her role as Batman's feline nemesis, saying she deserves a solo movie.

Nolan has now completed his Batman trilogy and is stepping away from the franchise, but the actress admits she would love to sign up for a spin-off if she was working with "the right people".

"I'm very interested," she tells Digital Spy. "I think it would be lovely to see more of her but only if it's with the right people. She lives in this Gotham City and so it would have to be established by the people who have made this Gotham City. For me, at least."
