50 Cent's winter wonderland

Some of the cream of the world's hip-hop industry is headed to Perth. 50 Cent, with G-Unit, Fabolous, Lil' Kim and Mario, will headline Winterbeatz at Challenge Stadium on August 17.

The story of how 50 Cent, right, survived the streets of New York and took nine bullets on his way to becoming one of the most successful hip-hop artists of all time is the stuff of legend.

The rapper has released four albums and had eight top 20 singles in Australia. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am through Ticketmaster.
