Tonight, director Jim Loach will be appearing at a special screening of his debut feature film Oranges and Sunshine at the Windsor Cinema in Nedlands.
Loach, the son of acclaimed filmmaker Ken Loach, will take part in a special "in conversation" session after the film — set largely in WA — to give an insight into the making of the movie which stars British actress Emily Watson, left, alongside Aussie actors Hugo Weaving and David Wenham.
One of the Oscar-winning producers of The King’s Speech, Camilla Bray, will also be at the event, representing the producing team that also worked on Loach's film.
