Bynes arrested for DUI
Troubled star Amanda Bynes was arrested for driving under the influence earlier this week.
The 28-year-old Easy A star was detained at 3am on Sunday under the influence of a controlled substance.
Bynes was taken to a Californian police station before being released on $15,000 bail, TMZ.com said. She will appear in court on October 23.
She was charged with DUI in April, 2012, after she hit a police car in West Hollywood, but the charge was dropped and she was sentenced to three years probation for reckless driving in a plea deal.
Bynes had her driving licence suspended in September 2012 following two alleged hit-and-run charges, but the case was dismissed in December 2012 following a financial settlement.
Her licence was restored in April following three months of alcohol education classes.
Bynes was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold last year following a number of bizarre incidents, but she now lives in the custody of her parents.
