Caitlin Lomax's trip home to WA to be the face of Telstra Perth Fashion Festival was a flurry of shows, parties and appearances.

But it was not all work for the Bunbury-born beauty, who was accompanied by boyfriend Hugh Vidler.

The pair flew back to their Sydney base yesterday but not before Lomax had the chance to introduce her model squeeze to her parents, who were in Perth during the weekend.

The 22-year-old told Access All Areas having Vidler by her side made the week even better.

"It has been so much fun having him here," Lomax said. "He met my parents for the first time. I haven't had any time to show him around but Mum and Dad did. He has also been hanging out with my sister Jordan."

Lomax previously said she and Vidler were a "model nerd couple" because she is completing a computer-programming degree and he is studying nanotechnology.

The couple sat together in the front row for the Galvanised show at Ascot Racecourse on Friday night and Vidler also watched Lomax when she walked the runway in Rebecca Judd's famous red Brownlow dress at the Ruth Tarvydas tribute show.

Lomax told AAA she felt lucky to have had the chance to don the gown. She shared a snap to Instagram of herself on the catwalk after the event.

"So honoured to wear that red dress at the #ruthtarvydas tribute show," she wrote.

While Lomax has walked for international names including Chanel, Prada and Louis Vuitton, appearing in the Zhivago spectacular seems to have left a lasting impression.

The Chic model posted a photo of herself on Instagram with designers Lydia Tsvetnenko and Lara Kovacevic and said the women "killed it".

"I've done shows all over the world but THIS was one of my favourites!!!!!," Lomax wrote.
