Games of Thrones star Peter Dinklage has cancelled his trip to Australia in November.
Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister in the hit fantasy series, was due to appear at pop culture expo Supanova in Brisbane in early November and in Adelaide in mid-November, and at two Games of Thrones side events in Sydney and Melbourne.
But he has been cast in a movie going into production immediately, forcing him to cancel his trip Down Under.
As a replacement, Supanova has signed fellow Games of Thrones star Lena Headey, who also appears in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Headey, who plays the series' ice queen Cersei, will appear at the pop culture expo in Brisbane and Sydney, with another soon-to-be-announced Games of Thrones actor to appear in Peter Dinklage's stead in Melbourne and Adelaide.
Games of Thrones actors Jerome Flynn and Mark Addy will also appear at Supanova in Brisbane and Adelaide.
The series creator George RR Martin will appear at all the Supanova events.
Martin's page-turners have sold more than 20 million copies worldwide and have spawned a global fan base.
His books were adapted into the epic TV series in 2011, which aired in Australia on Foxtel's showcase channel.
