Elise Natalie has donned many a bikini for tropical, beach-set photo shoots but stripping off while knee-deep in the snow recently was an icy change of scenery.
The WA-based model and beauty queen was selected as a finalist in Miss Snowbunny - touted as the "ultimate winter model search" - held near the snowy mountains just below Thredbo Mountain, NSW.
Despite having to tackle the freezing temperatures wearing nothing but a bikini, Natalie told AAA it was a surreal experience.
"It was a fantastic event," she said.
"It was so much fun. We went out to do a photo shoot in the snow with our bikinis. We were looked after and made sure if we touched the snow to stop shooting and keep rugged up in between shooting."
But bracing the icy elements seemingly paid off for the blonde stunner, who was crowned Miss Snowbunny 2013.
"I was absolutely shocked when I was announced the winner," she said.
"I won an amazing prize pack and will get the opportunity to go back again next year and judge it all. Not only this but we had the opportunity to ski and snowboard the day following the final."
The 24-year-old's latest pageant victory follows her recent stint abroad representing Australia at the World Bikini Model contest and also returning to her European roots, having represented the Isle of Man in the Miss European Tourism competition.
Next on Natalie's pageant ventures is Miss Universe.Having entered the Miss Universe WA contest in 2011, Natalie - who is dating Perth illusionist and 2010 Australia's Got Talent finalist Adam Murby - now has her sights set on the Miss Australia crown, having just been named a 2014 top 60 contender.
