Princess Diana's former lover Dr Hasnat Khan has slammed an upcoming film examining their romance - branding the biopic completely wrong.
After watching a trailer for the movie, the renowned surgeon insisted the film, starring Australian actress Naomi Watts, right, as Diana, was based on "hypotheses and gossip".
Dr Khan, who was nicknamed Mr Wonderful by the princess during their romance, has vowed never to watch the film after seeing a still image of actors Watts and Naveen Andrews at Harefield Hospital, London, where the former couple met.
"I don't see this movie doing at all well," Dr Khan told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper."It is based on gossip and Diana's friends talking about a relationship they didn't know much about, and some of my relatives who didn't know much about it either."
