What a luxury to be watching Survivor at a decent hour after years of it being shunted to a late-night slot.

Perhaps we have the current "Fans vs Favorites" concept to thank for that, a proven winner for the show in the past.

These favourites are very much second-tier, with no players of the calibre of Boston Rob or Parvati.

If this lot are remembered at all it's for all the wrong reasons (alliance flipping, psycho behaviour, giving up immunity idols, dodgy underpants).

Still, they are entertaining to watch. Over on the fans' tribe, the plethora of blondes is gradually getting whittled away, making it easier to keep track of who's who.
