Jennifer Hawkins is having the time of her life as the new host of Foxtel's upcoming series of Australia's Next Top Model, but one thing she hopes will come out of the show is a potentially successful model, not a wannabe-reality TV star.

Speaking to AAA Weekend ahead of her appearance at Myer's autumn-winter parade in Melbourne this week, Hawkins hoped the girls would be professional while on the job.

"There's no cattiness on set, because they're trying to impress us, but it will be interesting to see what happens when they all get into the house," she said. "But that's something that's out of our control, I just hope they're not tacky about it and keep it professional. I just want someone who's a great model, not a reality star."

While there's no doubt tempers will flare between the ANTM beauties, Hawkins said attitude aside, if a girl has great potential and a strong worth ethic, she can succeed.

Having wrapped the first week of filming for the show last week, Hawkins - who replaced former host and model Sarah Murdoch - said despite the long days she is having a ball.

"It's been amazing, so much fun," she said. "The girls are strong and really cheeky behind the scenes, but everyone is getting the job done. It's really rewarding, even after a 15-hour day. It's like a team effort."

When asked about her upcoming nuptials, Hawkins remained tight-lipped on the location but was quick to rubbish recent reports she is set to wed her long-time beau Jake Wall in Bali.

"They're all wrong!" she laughed. "Nothing has been said, so I don't know where they got that from. I just said overseas, but nothing was said about location. But I'm so excited, I can't wait. It's something really exciting to look forward to."
