Ben Affleck's acclaimed thriller Argo has continued its awards season dominance after nabbing a top honour at the American Cinema Editors' Eddie Awards.
William Goldenberg landed Best Edited Feature Film - Dramatic for Argo at the 63rd annual ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Lincoln filmmaker Steven Spielberg was presented with the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year trophy at the event, and recognised his peers in his acceptance speech.
"Editing and directing are almost interchangeable," Spielberg said.
"I've always looked at the editing room as the safe haven of second chances.
"Editors, everybody here: You are my heroes."Jay Cassidy won in the Best Edited Feature Film (comedy or musical) category for Silver Linings Playbook, while Brave editor Nicolas C. Smith was also honoured.
