Booth's big movie a flop

Perth actress Emma Booth’s first big-budget US movie has flopped at the box office.

Booth’s movie Parker, in which she stars alongside Jennifer Lopez and Jason Statham, crashed at the US box office at the weekend, scraping into fifth place with just $US7 million ($6.72 million).

Hollywood critics are calling the film’s disastrous results the end of Lopez’s film career.

Booth had flown to the US to attend Parker’s star-studded New York premiere last week.

Parker is scheduled to open in Australia in March.
