A parody video starring Ricky Gervais as The Hobbit wizard, Gandalf the Grey, is starting to go viral.
The Office: An Unexpected Journey uses footage from Peter Jackson's The Hobbit movie and superimposes the faces and voices of characters from the original UK Office television series.
The video takes advantage of actor Martin Freeman starring in both The Office and The Hobbit, which was shot mostly in New Zealand.
It starts with Gervais (David Brent) dressed as Gandalf delivering one of the classic lines from The Office.
"People say I'm the best boss, they go 'oh you get the best out of us' and I go 'c'est la vie'."
Freeman also delivers a couple of lines from The Office, while in character as Bilbo Baggins.
There's a brief cameo from Ewen MacIntosh (Big Keith).
But perhaps the funniest moment comes as actor Mackenzie Crook (Gareth Keenan) appears as Gollum.
UK-based producers Jonny Lang and Jason Burke made The Office: An Unexpected Journey and say they're already planning a sequel.
"Like 'The Hobbit'? Like 'The Office'? Then you may well like this unique blend of those two worlds where David Brent (aka Gandalf The Grey) tells us all about his philosophy around running a regional parchment merchants in Middle Earth," they wrote on YouTube.
