Brian McFadden and Vogue Williams will spend their first Christmas together as husband and wife in their native Ireland. While the pair are based in Sydney, Williams said family commitments meant the couple would head back home for a "white Christmas".
"We are going to Brian's parents because he has got the girls (the former Westlife singer's daughters from his marriage to Kerry Katona, Molly, 11, and Lilly-Sue, 9) this year," Williams told AAA.
"We are going to be at his parents' home for Christmas and then we go down to see my mum in Spain for New Year's Eve.
"Christmas over there is very different to here because it is so cold. On Christmas Day, no shops, no pubs, no restaurants, nothing is open. You basically spend the day with your family watching the telly while eating as much as you can all day."
Despite this being just their second Christmas together and first as husband and wife, the model, DJ and Dancing with the Stars contestant said she wasn't a diva when it came to gifts, with only one thing on her wish list.
"All I want is clothes, so he doesn't have to do anything that difficult," she said with a laugh.
McFadden and Williams are in Perth today for a quick visit before they head to Ireland via Dubai.
It won't be just rest for Williams, who will get behind the decks at Gold Bar's Christmas party in Subiaco before a headlining DJ set at Eve Nightclub at Crown Perth after 9pm tonight."I love going to Perth. I love going to the Crown because it is like a tropical island in Perth," she said. "Even though I have to work, I will make sure I get to sunbathe before I head back to dreary winter weather."
