It was a Twitter engagement and now Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster have announced they've tied the knot via the social networking site.
"If you heard a 'whoop for joy' on Tuesday, it was me; I married my girl! I'm the happiest guy. She seems happy too (phew). H," Blake posted today, adding the hashtag honeymooning.
Foster also shared her excitement at the news.
"I didn't know heartpounding, feet-off-the-ground joy til I snuck off on Tuesday to marry my beautiful Hame... And now, viva la funnymoon! (sic)" the beauty writer tweeted.
Blake previously announced their plans to marry via Twitter, announcing in January that his highlight of 2011 was proposing to Foster, including a picture of her hand balancing a real rock.
In what may have been a ploy to put the paparazzi off their plans, Blake told News Ltd in October the couple were enjoying being engaged too much to plan a wedding."We aren't going to put off being married for ever but we have only been engaged for nine months so there is no crazy rush," he said.
