Australian actress Rose Byrne will reportedly reteam with actor Patrick Wilson for the sequel to hit horror film Insidious.
Byrne will reprise her role as Renai Lambert for Insidious Chapter 2, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Insidious was made for only $US1.5 million and grossed $US97 million worldwide, proving a boon for its distributor FilmDistrict, says the online report.
In Insidious, Byrne plays a mother, who together with her husband (Wilson), tries to save their son from being possessed by evil spirits after moving into a haunted house.
The Sydney-raised actress has starred in numerous films including Bridesmaids and X-Men: First Class.She also starred in hit US TV drama Damages alongside veteran actress Glenn Close. Damages recently screened its finale after five seasons.
