Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been accused of stealing $US15,000 ($14,475) worth of clothing from the set of her latest film, Scary Movie 5.
The accusations came from a set insider, who told the National Enquirer in the US that the actress allegedly took “nice tops and skirts” from her wardrobe racks while shooting for the film last month.
“It was the talk of the set in Atlanta,” the source said.
“I guess Lindsay thought she was entitled to it, like free soap at a hotel. All other actors knew about it, but the producers just put it down to the price you had to pay for doing business with Lindsay.”
Lohan is said to play herself in the fifth instalment of the comedy horror franchise, which is expected to be released next year.
Charlie Sheen is also among the cast. While it’s not the first time Lohan has been accused of stealing — she was convicted of jewellery theft last year — the 26-year-old’s spokesman, Steve Honig, told UK’s MailOnline that the recent allegation was “pure National Enquirer fiction”.
