The Wanted were thrilled to perform at Romeo Beckham's 10th birthday party at the weekend.

Romeo's mother Victoria Beckham asked the British boy band to surprise Romeo at his bash in the US and they were happy to oblige.

"Victoria has some handy connections with the band and it wasn't hard to get them along," a source told a British newspaper.

The former Spice Girl, left, tweeted to show her appreciation, writing: "The @thewantedmusic boys, the coolest boys in music Thank you for making Romeo's 10th birthday so special! X vb (sic)."
