Russell Crowe, left, is in talks to take command of the Ark in director Darren Aronofsky's Biblical epic Noah, according to entertainment news website Variety. If Crowe gets on board the project, filming is due to begin in July. Variety reports that Aronofsky's take will have Noah as a man who has become disillusioned with the way humans have treated the planet. Crowe is currently filming Les Miserables with Hugh Jackman, and has recently finished filming Man of Steel, Broken City and The Man with the Iron Fists. Crowe was last seen in The Next Three Days and Robin Hood. Aronofsky has previously directed Black Swan and The Wrestler.
