X Factor continues to shock
If you thought the first three episodes of this year's The X Factor have featured some amazing stories and talented performers, tonight the talent search goes one step further.
On tonight's episode, which screens at 7.30pm on Seven, the program will feature Paige Phoenix, a female to male transsexual.
Phoenix, who is 35-years-old and based in Brisbane, prefers people to use the term "Transpeople".
The X Factor is not the first reality talent competition to feature a transgendered person to drum up publicity.
The coming season of the US Dancing With The Stars is controversially set to featuring Cher and Sonny Bono's transgendered son Chaz, who was a born a girl and grew up most of her life known publicly as Chastity.
