Tom Jones in "heart scare"
Legendary crooner Tom Jones was forced to cancel a concert in Monte Carlo after being admitted to hospital with "a heart scare".
The producer of the show, which was to take place at The Sporting Club on Saturday night as part of a summer-long festival, took to his Twitter account to announce the news.
"Tom Jones not well. Tonights concert, at the Sporting Club, Monte Carlo, cancelled as Tom Jones admitted to hospital with a heart scare," David King wrote.
A spokesperson for the Sporting also confirmed the news, saying, "I received a call at 8:10pm informing me that the event had been cancelled because Tom Jones had been taken to the hospital."
According to the Daily Mail, Staff at Monte Carlo’s Princess Grace Hospital said they could not confirm whether the 71-year-old singer had been admitted
