Norway Massacre: The Killer's Mind, Sunday, 5.30pm, Discovery

This British documentary provides a comprehensive overview of what happened in Norway on July 22.

It does not have any answers as to why Anders Behring Breivik set off a bomb in central Oslo, killing eight people, and then travelled 40km to the island of Utoya where he shot dead 69 young people.

But it does fill in some gaps in the story and interviews with three young people who were on the island underscore yet again how calmly and ruthlessly Breivik went about the killings.

He hired the farmhouse where he made the bomb in May and set about writing a 1500-page manifesto, which he emailed to 6000 people before setting off on his killing sprees.

The consensus seems to be that he is not insane but that he is definitely a narcissist and that he wants to stand trial to give a platform for his twisted ideas.
