The Lunar Circus Show
Lunar Circus Big Top
REVIEW: Kara Hanlon
Returning to Perth for the first time in 10 years, the Lunar Circus didn't disappoint when they took to the ring to perform their wonderfully entertaining show.
Accompanied by a live band, the talented troop of acrobats, clowns and aerial performers wowed the all-ages audience with their performance.
From their first act, the troop's talent and penchant for cheeky antics was obvious, and set the bar high for the rest of the show.
The trapeze act was spectacular; as she hung from the trapeze bar by the nape of her neck, audience members gasped trying to work out how it was possible.
Also a highlight was the table tennis tournament, where the performers slid and somersaulted over the table as a fake fight broke out between them. Combined with a simple yet humorous storyline the act showcased the best of the Lunar Circus.
In just one-hour, The Lunar Circus Show managed to entertain as their hilarious antics and astonishing stunts were met with raucous applause from the audience, making this one Fringe World show definitely worth seeing.
The Lunar Circus Show runs until February 16 and is part of Fringe World 2013. Tickets are available from www.fringeworld.com.au.
