Containing reflections, rants and racy ruminations from bestselling British journalist Jon Ronson, Lost At Sea is an eclectic and entertaining collection.

As with Ronson's previous non-fiction excursions, reading this is an odd experience: the pieces range from the title story, about a young woman who disappeared while working on a Disney cruise off the coast of Mexico, to I'm Loving Aliens Instead, which recounts Ronson's experience trekking to a UFO convention in the Nevada desert with pop superstar Robbie Williams.

While Ronson's stories are often unbelievable, what makes this compelling is his ability to combine adventure and reflection - on everything from God to horror movies.
