Just days after Perth's golden girl Jessica Marais wowed them on the red carpet at the Logies, the actress will glam up for the launch of the new Linneys showroom at Westfield Sydney tonight.
The former Packed to the Rafters star will join creative director Alan Linney in cutting the ribbon of the new complex, which is home to the first Linneys store on the east coast and the fifth Linneys showroom in Australia.
The event will also unveil a $2 million pink diamond tiara.
It's been a big week for Marais who says she enjoyed the Logies but is glad they are over.
"It's always a very exhausting, big, big thing though, so it's nice to be out the other side of it," she tells Access All Areas.
At the weekend, Marais confirmed she was cast in a TV series while on a recent 10-day trip to the US and will move to Miami at the end of next month for four months with her fiance and former co-star James Stewart.
While Marais says she can't reveal specific details except that it is for a US cable network, the blonde beauty says it won't be a permanent move.
"I'm not going forever, it's a few months and people think I'm jumping shores for the rest of my life, I'll definitely be back," she says.
"I'm really hoping to do some more work in Australia towards the end of the year."
And Marais hinted that a return to Seven's Packed to the Rafters could be on the cards. She plans to return to Perth to visit family and friends before heading to Miami.
