Some of the world's best tennis players celebrated New Year's Eve by letting their hair down in Perth last night.
At the invitation-only Hopman Cup Ball, French tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga spontaneously jumped on stage to dance with singer Marcia Hines.
Hines seemed to enjoy Tsonga's moves as she playfully sang while he grooved along.
However, the former Australian Idol judge was less impressed when local lawyer Mark Leaker jumped on stage to try to get in on the action.
Hines, 59, was forced to shove Leaker when he got a little too close for comfort.
In Leaker's defence, he wasn't the only high-profile person who seemed starstruck by getting up close to Hines, one of Australia's foremost pop divas.US tennis player Venus Williams was more than an hour late to the event and stayed for just 15 minutes, world number one male tennis player Novak Djokovic drank red wine and hit the dance floor with his glamorous Serbian tennis partner Ana Ivanovic until the crowd cheerfully brought in the New Year.
