After finishing another successful year of his US-based chat show, Rove McManus is heading back to Perth for his annual festive visit.
The Perth-born and raised entertainer just filmed the finale of the second season of Rove LA, and will be back in town just in time for Christmas morning.
It is expected that he will joined by his Geraldton-born wife, former Blue Heelers actress Tasma Walton.
"I'm coming home to Perth. There will be a lot of eating. I miss getting to spend time with my family," McManus was quoted as saying at the weekend.
The last time McManus was in Perth was for an extended stay around Christmas last year, during which time he surprised locals with an impromptu guest appearance at Lazy Susan's Comedy Den at The Brisbane Hotel on December 23.
Also heading home for Christmas is Perth beauty Renae Ayris.
