In the wake of her arrest after allegedly punching a woman at a New York nightclub last week, things continue to go from bad to worse for troubled star Lindsay Lohan.

Reports are now claiming that the 26-year-old has had her bank account seized by the US Internal Revenue Service and that she has also been ordered to repay her outstanding debts.

It is understood that Lohan owes $US233,904 ($224,100) in unpaid Federal taxes which were allegedly accumulated over 2009 and 2010. She is also believed to owe money from last year.

Though she has been offered $US100,000 by her Scary Movie 5 co-star Charlie Sheen to help repay her debts, according to the New York Post, sources say she is “freaking out” over her finances.

The alleged tax evasion is the latest in Lohan’s ongoing troubles, which have seen her in and out of rehab, court and jail in the past few years since rising to stardom as a teen.
