Miley Cyrus will likely be cleared of allegations she assaulted a man at a nightclub earlier this month, according to a new report.

The former Hannah Montana star was partying with fiance Liam Hemsworth at Beacher's Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel on September 9 when she got caught up in an altercation with a stranger.

The man later filed a report with police, alleging he was assaulted during the dispute, and police confirmed they were investigating his claim.

A representative for Cyrus said the allegation was "completely false and erroneous", and now editors at TMZ.com report surveillance footage from inside the venue confirm Cyrus is in the clear.
